HEALTHY RECIPES FOR DEABETICS

Diabetes Mellitus is not a dangerous disease because diabetes mellitus is a clinical syndrome characterized by increased blood glucose levels.
But if not aggressively controlled the syndrome will lead to chronic complications. These complications involving various organs in the body like heart, brain, leg, eye, kidney and neural network systems. Coronary heart disease, stroke and peripheral vascular disease is a major disease causing death in diabetics.
There are several things to consider to maintain the health of diabetics, among others:
• When cooking use vegetable oil or fat than butter.
• Cook vegetables with low-fat broth or water.
• Season food with natural herbs.
• Choose unsweetened butter than butter or margarine.
• Eat cereal with skim milk (skim).
• Eat fat-free cheese and yogurt.
• Drink fruit juices without added sugar.
• Consumption of chicken without skin.
• Bake, grilled or fried meat without oil.
• Use lemon and lime juice to replace butter or sauce.
• Wheat bread and cereals are better than ordinary bread.
